Alarm… Metro… Bus… School.
Got to campus early because today is our late day. So I had an hour to kill while waiting for class to start. Went to the cafeteria and grabbed some eggs and toast from the Italian place. Studied for awhile while Iate. Max showed up halfway through breakfast and joined me.
We eventually made our way over to class. MSA was up first. We spent most of MSA doing vocab drills and going over grammar rules. Nothing to crazy. In writing we went over the equivalents of ‘in order to’ and ‘thanks to’. Surprisingly tricky words.
Had a short break 45 minute break where I went to Omda and grabbed a Magnum sandwich (fool, egg, falafel, and fries packed into a pita..). Talked with Mason, Max, and Nick to pass the time.
Colloquial was spent practicing the new vocab. However, today was the short day in colloquial so not much was discussed.
After class I made my ways down to the track and did a short running workout followed by Air Alert. By the end of my workout my left knee was killing me, which worries me because I’ve heard of people screwing up their knees doing this workout. However, I was fine when I did it in the past…. Maybe I just need to stretch and warm up better. Afterwards decided to try the on campus showers because I heard they were amazing. I had heard correctly. Hot water and water pressure were both amazing things that I had been missing…
Caught the bus home and did some review. Got home and immediately started working on the large amounts of homework due tomorrow. This included the 5 listening packets, one news article, the Valley of Whales article, the grammar handouts, writing translations, and preparing for the conversation midterm tomorrow… I took one break to grab food…besides that I was working until 2am…
