Didn’t sleep to well last night. However, had to roll out of bed and get to class anyways. Made my way to the bus and passed out in the seat.
The next thing I remember is being prodded by the bus driver to wake up. Apparently we had been parked at school for ten minutes and I had been knocked out cold. I sleepily exited the bus and made my way to class.
We did some listening exercises in Media but nothing too complex.
After media we had our three hour break. I went and grabbed lunch with Max and Henry. After eating some Omda I went to the library to do some homework.
In conversation class we each gave a presentation about an injury one of our family members had sustained. I talked about my dad’s bike accident. It made for an interesting story in Arabic. After the presentations we were told to touch them up and prepare them for Wednesday because we would be re-telling them as our midterm.
After class I caught the bus home. Made my way up to my apartment and started to study in my bed…. Of course that just led to me taking a short nap.
Eventually started to study and prepare my homework for the next day. At around Eight Evan and I decided to go grab some dinner from the chicken place near the metro. We decided to try the stew today, which turned out to be quite excellent.
After dinner I decided to check on a few internship deadlines that were coming up. It was lucky I did because one of the deadlines for the Homeland Security program had moved up to the first…. Which is today…. Which meant I had until midnight Washington time to finish it.
Well that meant I got to spend the next 6 hours doing that application and writing a whole bunch of supplemental essays etc. Because of this I did not get to finish my work for the following day’s class and was going to bed at 4am.
I decided that I was going to take the next day off class. Emailed my professors letting them know of my situation and went to bed.
